The preventative healthcare technology company will open a health centre in the city this Autumn

Preventative healthcare technology company Neko Health is set to open its fourth global health centre in Manchester this autumn.

Co-founded by Hjalmar Nilsonne and Daniel Ek (founder of Spotify), Neko Health operates on the belief that prevention is better than cure and empowers people to stay ahead of their health.

The Neko Body Scan (£299) is a preventive health check for the future self. The scan maps millions of health data points on your body - both inside and out - in just a few minutes, checking things like moles across the body, symptoms of metabolic syndrome and risk factors for stroke and heart attack, along with blood fats and blood sugar levels to assess pre-diabetes risk. It also checks for skin cancer and blood abnormalities.

Having already amassed a loyal following of members and unprecedented demand, with over 100,000 people on the waitlist for its scans, Neko Health is setting the new standard for preventive care.

The new Manchester site continues Neko’s vision to create a healthcare system that can help people stay healthy through preventive measures and early detection.
