Mondays Play One-Off Fundraising Gig

BIG news for fans of Happy Mondays. The band will be headlining a one-off fundraising 'Black Tie' dinner at The Palace Hotel Ballroom on Friday 25 July to help raise money for Monday's star Paul Ryder's son Chico.

The night will bring together a host of Manchester legends alongside the full live set from Happy Mondays

Chico is in recovery from a rare form of cancer called Rhabdomyosarcoma. The event will raise funds for his ongoing treatment in the US and The Christie.

The night is centred around a dinner and gig which will bring together a host of Manchester legends alongside the full live set from Happy Mondays. There'll be DJ sets from Peter Hook (Joy Division, New Order) and Graeme Park (Hacienda), a spoken word performance from Mike Garry, and compering from comedian Stu Francis. A fundraising auction and raffle will feature some very exclusive items.

With a line-up like that, it's no surprise that most of the VIP tables are already sold out. But they've just released a limited batch of tickets at £75-£100 so you've still got chance to dust off your tux and enjoy the night. These tickets give you a sumptuous four-course dinner in the glitzy ballroom and of course the gig itself. And the £100 tickets also include VIP reception.
