SUMMER House is the bright new pop-up bar now open for the next 18 weeks in Manchester’s Exchange Square.
The clear roofed pavilion, surrounded by white picket fencing, creates a bright oasis of trees, foliage, and colour bang in the middle of the busy city centre.
Bringing a splash of life and colour inspired by Europe’s pop art gardens, Summer House replaces the Manchester wheel with a pavilion bar and garden serving summer drinks, mezze, summer salads and deli style bar snacks.
The clear roofed pavilion, surrounded by white picket fencing, creates a bright oasis of trees, foliage, and colour bang in the middle of the busy city centre. Staff will be serving up the perfect summer drinks from a vivid red bar with their fruit picked fresh from the Summer House orange, lemon and lime trees.
Visitors can relax on bright sun loungers, share a Watering Can cocktail in the garden amongst friends, enjoy a cold pint of lager while catching some rays or channel the Mediterranean with a delicious mezze platter.
Sports fans will secure the best seat in the house when it comes to watching the best of this summer of sport - whether it be the Euros, the Olympics, Wimbledon or Formula 1 – with the BBC big screen at Exchange Square within easy viewing distance.
In addition, there is an extensive line-up of events that will create a summer party atmosphere in Exchange Square throughout the season. The bar will be hosting regular live music, and a full carnival party in August.
The Summer House is the latest project from Heart Soul Rock & Roll, the team behind Spinningfield’s successful pop up Yacht Club.
Chris Legh, director at Heart Soul Rock & Roll said: “The Summer House is a truly unique concept creating a vibrant, modern and fresh summer meeting place in Manchester’s City Centre.
“We have creative and colourful events planned throughout the summer and can’t wait to add to the carnival atmosphere the screening of great sporting events such as the Olympics, the Euros and Wimbledon will bring to Exchange Square.
“The Summer House is a new summer holiday home from home, and the perfect place to soak up the best of the UK’s culture and sporting events this summer.”
The Summer House is open now, from 11am to 11pm.
