Arc Inspirations plan to bring Manahatta brand to spot opposite Hawksmoor
Another week, another Monday nugget of new opening news.
Confidential sees Leeds-based bar and restaurant group, Arc Inspirations, are planning to open a new 230-cover bar and restaurant in the grade II-listed, Charles Heathcote-designed Royal London House (1904) on Deansgate - next door to Hawksmoor.
The fifteen-venue strong group, which opened its first Manchester venue, Banyan Bar & Kitchen, at the renovated Corn Exchange in 2015, hope to bring their 'New York-inspired' Manahatta brand to the city sometime in the summer... taking Manchester's tally of New York-inspired venues to 873.
Arc already have two Manahattas in Leeds, on Greek Street and Merrion Street, which our man in Leeds describes as 'a bit like your Neighbourhood... except less minor TV personalities'.
Cheers Thom.
So expect leather booths, trendy lightbulbs and Big Apple-themed booze and bites...almost definitely with a 'twist'.
