THIS summer Ibérica are bringing the taste of Spain to you with a series of delicious masterclasses and tasting events.
Get your diary out and make a note of these:
Balear Gastronomy Masterclass,
Wednesday 11 May, 6pm
The Balearic Islands' unique geography means they have a food culture all of their own.
From the Mahon cheese, named after the Menorcan port, with its intense, salty strength to the Balearic speciality, sobrasada, a soft chorizo-like sausage with a texture like pâté that's perfect for spreading on cocas, the region's traditional flatbreads, this masterclass is a lesson in beautiful and individual flavours.
It's not just food either – you'll be introduced to D.O. Pla i Llevant wines which are made with grapes of exceptional flavour due to the intense weather conditions of the islands.
