EUROPE's largest 10km race takes place in Manchester on Sunday 10 May.

Confidential will be on the ground from start to end

Over 40,000 people are expected to take part in the thirteenth annual Great Manchester Run, including European 10,000m gold medalist Jo Pavey and legendary Ethipoian long-distance runner Haile Gebrselassie - who'll be looking to claim his sixth Great Manchester Run win.

The racing begins at 10.55 with the Elite wheelchair racers, followed by the elite women at 11.15 and the elite men at 11.37 - all start times can be found here.

The course starts at the junction of Portland Street and Oxford Street (near McDonalds) and will head out to Old Trafford and Salford Quays - home to the BBC, ITV and Imperial War Museum - before finishing back in Manchester city centre at the Beetham Tower on Deansgate - view the full Great Manchester Run 2015 route map here.

The race - which has raised over £22m for charity since it was established in 2003 - will be broadcast live on BBC2 from 11am to 1pm.
