SHE may not have had an album out in nearly a decade, but there’s still no mistaking the musical talents of local lass Lisa Stansfield. The Brit award winning singer boasts nearly 20 million album sales and a string of top 10 UK and European hits.
Over the last year she's been hard at work on a seventh studio album which is due to be released in spring 2013. She’s also currently filming a major motion picture based around the Northern Soul phenomenon - also due for release in 2013.
Stansfield, has quietly re-emerged from the creative shadows with an announcement of two special shows in London and Manchester. The upcoming show in Manchester, at Sound Control on Tuesday 20 November, will feature both old and new material. Tickets go on sale on Friday 28 September.
