Ashton-under-Lyne restaurant caters for Diwali event at the Houses of Parliament

The first cross-party Diwali celebration event was held at the Palace of Westminster last week. And who was doing the cooking? None other than Confidential’s favourite Lily’s.

Well if you are going to hold a Diwali event in speaker of the house, the Right Honourable Sir Lindsay Hoyle’s state rooms, then you’d better make sure the catering is up to scratch. No wonder they chose Lily’s.

The Ashton-under-Lyne restaurant team served MPs and peers as well as members of the Hindu community from across the country. Lily’s was recommended by Stockport MP, Navendu Mishra who co-hosted the event and is obviously a fan of top class Indian vegetarian cuisine.

If you delight your diners, you might end up with a good review on Trip Advisor or you might end up cooking at the Palace of Westminster. You never know. Diners are always delighted at Lily’s so they more than deserve the fame their recommendation has brought them.

We hope everyone appreciated their subtle spicing and fine flavours as much as we do. Don’t leave us for the bright lights of London though Lily’s – we love your chilli paneer and your delightful samosas too much.
