MON Amie Studios on Bury Old Road is one of those suburban shops that draws in clientele from way beyond its postcode area. Stocking designer ladieswear, children's wear and accessories, it's an antidote to the three-hour trawl around the city centre – the sort of place you can go at 4pm on a Saturday and leave with a slinky new outfit; hat, bag, shoes and all.

On Thursday 23 February from 3pm to 8pm, Mon Amie Studios is hosting a complimentary fashion and beauty event for Heroes and their guests, including a mini-catwalk show, cheese and wine, and a raffle in aid of The Christie Hospital Charity.

Integument Aesthetics – the Prestwich-based beauty and skincare specialists – will co-host the event. They'll treat you to a mini make-up or skincare session using Arbonne Pure Safe Beneficial Swiss-formulated skincare and cosmetics.

Integument Aesthetics offers Heroes a 25 per cent discount on all their treatments, meaning you can get the pick of their non-surgical, anti-ageing facials and treatments at a very competitive price.

Blaze Management Agency will also be at the event providing goody bags and mini makeup sessions throughout the day.
