Christmas is the true season of excess. The one time of year when we can all give Atkins, Actimel and kale the big Vs and just blast it. That's what Jebus would have wanted.
And indulgence doesn't get much more indulgent than the final weekend before Christmas Day. Whether it's the scramble in the Boots 3for2 aisles or the need to forget exactly where you told your boss to stuff that wine cork at the work's Xmas do, the likelihood is you're going to knock a fair few back on this merry weekend.

With that in mind, Manchester's original street food party organisers - stationed in Ancoats' Fairbairn Building every Saturday until 20 December - are bringing together 20+ keg and cask lines from some of the North West's finest craft brewers for a Christmas do focussed on the barley pop.
Friday 19 December (5pm-11pm, advance ticket £4) will see the Guerrilla's host the special Xmas Beer Bash, offering up craft brews from Magic Rock Brewing, Redwillow, Quantum, First Chop Brewing Arm, and plenty more...
There will also be a carry-out bottle bar so you can get stocked up for Christmas, and as ever, some of the region's best street food traders including: Beastys, Fat Annies, Rudys Pizza & Dirty Food Revolution... best something to soak it up, eh?

"The beer bash is a great way for us to showcase some of the great local and British craft breweries alongside our fantastic food traders, it’s the perfect match," says Guerrilla beer-guru Sean Robinson. "The breweries we're featuring are all making amazingly good beers and we’ve selected some of their standout brews with a great mix of styles on offer.
