Manchester’s food and drink folk scrub up well (most of 'em anyway)
Over 300 local restaurant, bar and hospitality folk gathered inside the magnificent Gorton Monastery on Monday night to discover the winners of this year’s Manchester Food and Drink Awards.
The event, hosted by the BBC's Becky Want and XS Manchester's Matt White, marked the close of the 21st Manchester Food & Drink Festival, which has been camped out on Albert Square these past two weeks, drawing tens of thousands of people into the city centre.
