This isn’t a bad review of a hotel, it’s an interactive theatre experience

Hotels that could be compared to Fawlty Towers…we’ve all been there, sadly. But Hotel Brooklyn on Portland Street is most definitely not one of those hotels. It’s the temporary home of those hapless hoteliers, Basil, Sybil and Manuel, as Faulty Towers the Dining Experience comes to the city.

A flamboyant 70s meal with a side order of complete chaos

Artistic Director Alison Pollard-Mansergh, Producer Jared Harford, and the whole team at Interactive Theatre International are proud to bring their immersive and uproarious theatre and dining experience to new audiences in Manchester.

The cast for the Manchester residency will include Suzanna Hughes as ‘Sybil’, Hayden Wood as ‘Basil’, and Leigh Kelly as ‘Manuel’.

Now in its 25th year, the original Fawlty Towers Dining Experience is an affectionate tribute to one of Britain’s best-loved TV series. It offers a three-course meal and five-star comedy gold.

When the audience become diners in the Faulty Towers restaurant, pretty much anything can happen – and invariably does. That’s because most of the show is unscripted, improvised performance.

The fun starts as guests wait to be seated then hurtles along in a two-hour tour de force of gags and shambolic service and Basil and co serve up a flamboyant 70s meal with a side order of complete chaos.

There’s simply nothing like it – a West End experience and dinner, all in one.
