Special set menu for every day of the week
SAY ciao to changing menus at Giovanni’s in Knutsford, where every day is different. New to lunchtime is a special set menu – one for each weekday. In other words, drop in to Giovanni’s Monday to Friday and you’ll be greeted with a whole new selection of dishes, depending on the day.
Pick a starter, main and dessert for just £11.95, noon until 4pm, with extra choices on Saturday and a roast included on Sundays, when three courses are £16.95, which won’t exactly break the banco! Sweet trolley aside, we added up your options and there’s a total of 34 on weekdays alone!
That’s a lot of decision-making, as we discovered when we escaped the office and popped along one Tuesday – although as the food is so fresh and full of flavour, we reckon you’ll hit the jackpot whatever you plump on. Us? We went for the cannelloni alla Neapolitana for our starter, which was velvety rich with tomato and cheese, followed by the saltimbocca alla Romania main: herby veal escaloppines wrapped in Parma ham.
