EDEN HAZARD is attracting preying eyes from all over Europe at the moment, and both Manchester football clubs have contacted Lille to register an interest in signing the 21-year-old Belgian wonderkid.
Sir Alex Ferguson watched Hazard in Lille’s defeat at Lyon on Saturday, and the French champions would be willing to let the playmaker leave in the summer if they receive a big offer.
If Khan fails to regain his titles when the two clash in May, his top-flight career in boxing will have petered out by the age of 25
City are amongst a host of other clubs who have registered an interest in the player, including Chelsea and Spurs, although no formal offers have been made for Hazard yet.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp, who has too much respect to go around talking about other team's players, and doesn’t even deal with transfers anyway so you’ll have to ask his chairman, told L’Equipe: "Our owner is willing to pay for an exceptional talent like Eden Hazard. I have seen him several times recently but I also know that Manchester United are looking at him and also Manchester City. It will be difficult to get him but I like him a lot.” Sometimes, the future England manager’s mind-games can be so astute.

For now though, the Manchester clubs will have to make do with what they’ve got as they prepare for their Europa League second leg matches tomorrow night.
City will be looking to turn around a 1-0 deficit as they face Sporting Lisbon at The Etihad Stadium, whilst United travel to Athletic Bilbao having already lost 3-2 to the Spanish side at Old Trafford.
British boxing and Bolton darling, Amir Khan, believes that his rematch with Lamont Peterson will “make or break” his career.
Khan lost his WBA and IBF light-welterweight titles to Peterson in Washington last year after a controversial split-decision sparked conspiracy rumours centered around ‘mystery man’ Mustafa Ameen.
Peterson, who has been goading Khan calling him “arrogant”, agreed to the fight in Las Vegas after the World Boxing Association ordered a rematch.
If Khan fails to regain his titles when the two clash in May, his top-flight career in boxing will have petered out by the age of 25, but at least he’ll still have the hearts of the Bolton public.
