Candid Studios is bringing their self-portrait experience to Manchester this autumn
What began as a self-love project, set up by sisters Aimee and Lily, has since developed into a cult London studio. And now, Candid Studios has become so popular that the brand is expanding north with an exciting pop-up self-portrait experience in the city this October.
The limited pop-up will be hosted at Blank Space Content Studio in the city centre and run from 18-26 October.
Since launching in Notting Hill, Candid has become a go-to destination for ‘authentic, confidence-first content’. Alongside a loyal following of creators and small businesses, the studio has collaborated with major names including The Women’s Super League, Snapchat, Adobe, and British Airways.
“Candid started as a self-love project,” says co-founder Aimee. “It’s about creating a space where people can take control of their own story and leave feeling seen, celebrated, and confident. Manchester has always been high on our list — with so many of our Northern clients travelling to London for shoots, we knew we had to bring Candid to them.”
“For us, it’s never just about the photos,” adds co-founder Lily. “It’s about capturing the exact moment someone feels their most confident — and giving them the tools to own it. Bringing that to Manchester feels like the start of something bigger.”
Alongside its signature self-portrait sessions, the Manchester pop-up will also offer team shoots and a co-working space, creating a hub for businesses, communities, and creatives to connect and create.
