LUNYA has a packed calendar of events this spring so why not see how you can celebrate the season in true Catalan style.
A real foodie celebration
Calçotada
Sunday 20 March
The calçot is an unusual type of onion, somewhere between a leek and a spring onion but with a taste and flavour all of its own.
They know their onions in Catalunya and the calçot is feted with a real foodie celebration: the calçotada.
Traditionally, calçots are wrapped in newspaper, charred over burning coals and served with romesco sauce and followed with lots of grilled meat.
Do something different. #DosomethingCatalan
Mother's Day
Sunday 6 March
Mothers are special and Lunya will be celebrating them with a Mother's Day Banquet that includes a welcome glass of sangria cava – it's the least they deserve.
The usual a la carte menu will also be available so whichever option you choose, it promises to be a family meal to remember. Every mother dining at Lunya will receive a small gift as a memento of the day.
If you want to really spoil your mum, don't forget to buy her a present from Lunya's deli. With hampers, chocolates, gins, wines and luxury Spanish spirits, what more could she ask for?
