SPLENDID Sausage Company is pushing the boundaries of hot dog engineering once more. They've created a dog that includes all the tastiest bits of a traditional Christmas dinner – gravy, stuffing and all. Take a look at the picture: it's like the final round of a game of Jenga in festive food form.

Their Christmas Dinner Dog is a beef sausage topped with shredded butter turkey, sticky bacon and sprouts, honey roast carrots and parsnips, mini roast potatoes, mini Yorkshire puddings, stuffing balls, onion gravy – and a pig in a blanket sitting happily on top.
Not one for eating one-handed as you saunter down the street, then. But just the ticket for a Christmas chow-down with friends or office pals. It's £10, looks surprisingly appetising, and ought to fill you up till Boxing Day. Like all their creations, it's made from premium quality, local sausages – none of the cheap stuff on your bun here.
Turkey Burger
They've also dreamt up an equally ambitious Turkey Burger which we like the sound of. It's turkey breast coated in rosemary, garlic and thyme panko crumb, with crispy bacon, cranberry mayonnaise, gooey brie, stuffing, and a pig in blanket. This one is £9. Again, it's one that may need deconstructing before you try and fit it in your mouth.
Vegetarians get to have their fun as well. The Happy Veggie Christmas dog is a vegetarian Cumberland sausage topped with shredded buttered sprouts, honey roast carrots and parsnips, mini roast potatoes, mini Yorkshire puddings and onion gravy. It's £8.
For dessert, try their delicious sundaes Christmas Sundae with Sticky Toffee Pudding and Christmas Pudding Ice Cream. We recommend exploring their cocktail menu for your drinks. The It's Not Terry's cocktail seems apt for the season (Wyborowa Vodka, Cointreau, Mozart Dark Chocolate Liqueur and White Chocolate Syrup, £7) but there's lots of other choices. Prosecco, wine, craft beer, and milkshakes are also there to tempt you.
All their Xmas specials are available on their Christmas Menu – two courses and a glass of festive fizz for £15 per person (£3 supplement for the Christmas Dinner Dog, and £2 supplement for the Turkey Burger). Or you can buy them individually. They're being served from now until Christmas.
