Tickets are now on sale for Eat Well MCR x NRB fundraising event

Thirteen of the UK’s top chefs will come together in Manchester this March to celebrate the sixth annual Eat Well MCR x NRB fundraising dinner, raising vital funds to provide chef-made meals for families and individuals facing food insecurity across Greater Manchester.

On Monday 9 March - on the eve of the Northern Restaurant & Bar hospitality trade show - the dinner will see leading chefs donate their time and talent to cook collaboratively, all for a good cause that directly supports their local community.

Founded in 2020 by chef Mary-Ellen McTague, Eat Well MCR delivers high-quality, chef-prepared meals to families living in temporary accommodation, women’s refuges, food banks, schools and parents of children in hospital. To date, the charity has provided more than 150,000 meals across Greater Manchester.

Guests who purchase a ticket can enjoy champagne and cocktails before sitting down to enjoy a multi-course collaborative menu, each chef contributing dishes across snacks, fish, mains and dessert. Entertainment will be provided by host Emily Spowage alongside music and dancing from DJ Lenny and Living Room Dance Club.

“This dinner is always one of the most special nights of the year for us,” says Mary-Ellen McTague, founder of Eat Well MCR. “It shows the very best of the hospitality industry - chefs giving their time and talent to cook not for profit, but for people who really need it. Every ticket sold directly funds meals that bring comfort, dignity and a bit of joy to families going through incredibly tough times.”

In partnership with Eat Well MCR’s fundraising dinner, guests can also enter a charity raffle featuring standout culinary prizes from Stow, Mama Z, Winsome, The Grand, York and Michelin-starred Skof - with every ticket purchased funding five meals for people who need support across Manchester. The raffle will be drawn on Monday 22 March 2026 to mark Eat Well MCR’s sixth birthday.

Last year, the event raised over £27,000, with organisers aiming to raise £30,000 this year - funding thousands more meals for people across the region.

Tickets are priced at £212.47 per person and are on sale now. Click here to book yours.
