Are you bored with the same old nights out, returning the same old bars and re-running the same old conversations?
Then why not try something different this week?
On Thursday 7 November, Ping Pong Cha returns to Yang Sing, bringing together the noble art of ping pong, China’s widest selling beer and the Yang Sing’s most popular dish to create an unforgettable evening of entertainment.
Ping Pong Cha is the brainchild of the Yang Sing team & Poppp, who have created Manchester’s first ping pong residency, where dim sum, Tsingtao beer and China’s most popular sport take centre stage.
Attend this monthly pop up ping pong evening and show your friends just how nimble you are with a racquet and a light weight ball. Feeling brave? Then why not pit your wits against the Dragon Master – a ball-shooting robotic dragon that fires one ball a second.
Of course, all bar games are infinitely improved by the consumption of beer and snacks, and there will be plenty of both with bottles of Tsingtao and plates of dim sum available to purchase on the evening.
With all that, plus resident DJs and mini-tournaments, this Ping Pong Cha is the sort of fun night out you’ll be telling your friends about for weeks to come.
The event is free, just register with poppp.co.uk. There will be free tables on the evening, but to guarantee a table you can reserve them online or on the evening for £20 an hour for unlimited players.
Ping Pong Cha, 7 November at Yang Sing, Princess Street, 6pm till late. Register for the evening at poppp.co.uk
