Joe Dunne: Thursday 11 July, 7pm
This young singer-songwriter smashes out classic songs from the likes of Oasis, The Beatles, Arctic Monkeys, and more. And listen out for a couple of his own tracks from his stellar new EP Space or Time.

Ancoats Book Club: Wednesday 17 July, 7pm
This month's book is Carrie Fisher's classic Hollywood breakdown novel Postcards From The Edge. It's funny, fast, and wise and should provoke some lively discussion. Get the book, read it, and go along – it's a friendly, informal group and everyone's welcome.

Ideal Forgery: Thursday 18 July, 7pm
Check out this stripped-back, unplugged set from ones-to-watch Ideal Forgery. Expect 'raw
vocal power, weaving lead cello lines and a gritty rhythm section', with influences from The Courteeners, Sound Garden, and Biffy Clyro. We are intrigued.

PopUp Painting: Paint the Manchester Bee, Wednesday 24 July, 7.30pm
Drink, paint, and unleash your creativity with guidance from a practising artist. This informal painting class will be themed around the Manchester Bee painting by Annie Dalton. You'll create your own bee in your own style, while enjoying a glass or two of wine. All art materials are provided, and all levels of experience are welcome.
