One of the Northern Quarter’s best cafe bars is getting even better.

Ssssh! On the Hush have a few changes coming up that will make this independent Northern Quarter cafe bar even better than ever.

It’s already the Bottomless Brunch Bar of the Year 2025 according to Lux Life Restaurant and Bar Awards, but what else does it offer?

If you are a fan of bottomless brunch, try the Sunday afternoon tea at On the Hush. It’s like a more decadent version of the weekend get together. Perfect with a jug of Pimms.

Starting on 31 May, On the Hush will be opening at 10am on weekends. That means you can avoid the out-of-the-door queues at other caffeine purveyors and start your day at On The Hush instead. Sitting down to a comforting breakfast barm or a fancy french toast sure beats being waiting for a table elsewhere.

As well their current range of colourful drinks, On the Hush is also adding healthy smoothies and cooling milkshakes to the menu in June. Oh, and did we mention the rainbow latte is going ‘iced’ for summer too?

With such an appealing selection of hot and cold drinks, and satisfying food, On the Hush is a great choice for a relaxed meal, or even a more casual approach to a business meeting. Let’s face it - you don’t wear a suit to work, and you don’t need fine dining to go over the finer details of a deal.

With all this to offer, it may surprise you that On the Hush is great value too. There’s an amazing £6 lunch deal and a very swish steak frites and a bottle of wine for two offer - just £49.

It’s value like this that makes On the Hush such a good bet before a show at the AO Arena or Co-Op Live, or even a for pre-theatre meal before heading to Manchester Opera House.

There are plenty of reasons to love On the Hush, but let’s keep it our little secret. We don’t want to have to start queuing for avocado on toast and a flat white.
