Expect plenty of street food, artisan traders and live entertainment

Bury BID Food & Drink Festival is back for its third year running, bringing a weekend of sizzling street food, artisanal traders and live music to the town centre.

Taking place from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 July, the free celebration will see Bury become a foodie hotspot. This year’s headline sponsor is Dunsters Farm; an independent, family owned foodservice company has been serving the North West hospitality and education sectors for more than 60 years.

The popular Hong Kong Market will once again bring vibrant street food, culture and 50 independent traders to Kay Gardens including a diverse mix of authentic food, drinks, artisan products and specialist traders celebrating Hong Kong and East Asian culture.

Nigel Shields, Town Centre Director at Bury BID, said: “Bury BID Food and Drink Festival has quickly earned its place as one of the biggest highlights in the town centre calendar, and we’re thrilled to be bringing it back for a third year in 2026. Last year’s festival brought an incredible atmosphere to Bury, with packed streets, fantastic live entertainment and brilliant independent traders serving up amazing food and drink from around the world. We’re planning our biggest and boldest festival yet and creating another unforgettable weekend in the heart of Bury.”

Cllr Gavin McGill, Bury East Ward and Cabinet Member for Culture, The Economy and Skills added: "I'm excited to support the Bury BID Food and Drink Festival in its third year. Bury doing what we do best, bringing traditional and contemporary together. Fusing cuisines, culture and conversation to make the sun shine, no matter the weather! Join us for what plans to be a very special weekend."

Norman Bannister, Sales Director at Dunsters Farm, said: "We're delighted to be supporting the Bury BID Food & Drink Festival this year. As a business that's been based in Bury for more than 60 years, it's fantastic to get behind an event that's right on our doorstep and celebrates so much of what makes the town special.

“At Dunsters Farm, we supply cafés, restaurants, caterers, and schools across the North West, so great food and hospitality are at the heart of everything we do. The festival shines a spotlight on the people and businesses that make Bury's food scene so vibrant, and we're proud to play a part in bringing that to life. We're excited to see the festival return for its second year and look forward to seeing it grow into a real fixture of the Bury calendar. We can't wait to see the town buzzing."

The full 2026 programme will be announced in the run up to the event. For more information about Bury BID Food and Drink Festival 2026 visit Discover Bury.
