LATE night hangout Black Dog Ballroom revealed today that its Northern Quarter venue has launched a new menu just for dogs.
"Last time we hit the dancefloor all the bitches went wild"
The menu has been tested by the brand’s Patterdale Terrier Bruce, Bruce, and features: the Bone Dog, a six inch beef bone serve in a steamed bun with the house special Barking Mad sauce; Prime Cut Pizza topped with liver, tripe and bone meal and the house speciality, nachos topped with Pedigree Chum served in a dog bowl. The menu also has a Puppy Patty, the house special burger, which is available to eat in or take away in it’s own doggy bag.
The dishes which were created by dog lover and executive chef Barry Gamble launches on 1 April and will be available at 50% off for the first two weeks.
Jobe Ferguson, co-owner of Black Dog Ballroom, said; “Bruce spends a lot of time in our venues and we have always talked about creating a menu especially for him. Then Barry got his own dog named Puppy and it gave him the motivation to come up with these great tasting, nutritionally balanced meals for our four legged friends in the Northern Quarter.”
Black Dog will also be launching a series of doggie discos at the venue.
Black Dog regular and dog lover Bob Barker said: "I'm sick of going on nights out and having to leave my little Bubba at home, he's a great conversation starter and a nifty dancer, last time we hit the dancefloor all the bitches went wild."
