Roast duck and hoi sin sauce babs plus more global inspiration
BAB’s new menu takes the fabulous kebab we all know and love and pairs it with some of our other favourite dishes from around the world.
The good old British fry-up makes an appearance on the new menu. This is next level brunch but great at any time of day. Streaky bacon, sausage, fried egg, black pudding, grilled tomato, mushrooms and sriracha ketchup all turned into a bab. There’s also a veggie version of this café classic.
If they gave out a Nobel prize for culinary invention, this would be on the shortlist.
Perhaps our favourite new bab is a skillful mash-up of the best bit of a Chinese takeaway and a fantastic kebab. Duck and pancakes with hoi sin and plum sauce is hard to improve on. BAB have managed to pull it off though.
Roast duck, spring onion, cucumber and a special BAB hoi sin, plum and chilli sauce in a bab not a pancake might just be genius. If they gave out a Nobel prize for culinary invention, this would be on the shortlist.
