The global lifestyle brand is expanding north with a new Manchester store
Globally renowned lifestyle brand Anthropologie, loved for its curated mix of apparel, accessories, homeware, and unique store experiences, is expanding north with a brand-new flagship store in the heart of Manchester.
The new Royal Exchange site will span 5,261 sq ft. and will be thoughtfully designed to embody the heritage of the historic building whilst bringing the brand’s signature aesthetic to the city. Anthropologie Manchester will showcase home, accessories and clothing including Anthropologie’s own-label fashion collections, Maeve, Pilcro and Daily Practice, alongside a curated selection of popular womenswear brands.
Matt Hilgeman, Managing Director at Anthropologie International says: “We’re delighted to be opening in Manchester, a city that embodies the cultural energy and creativity at the heart of Anthropologie, “Manchester is an ideal location for our continued UK expansion after Liverpool. This store represents an important milestone for Anthropologie, and we’re looking forward to welcoming the local community into a space that feels both inspiring and unique.”
The new opening will create 20 new jobs, from Store Manager to Visual Coordinator, providing exciting opportunities for Manchester’s retail talent.
The new store is expected to open its doors in Autumn/Winter 2025, and will have operating hours of 10am to 6:30pm Monday to Saturday, and 11am to 5pm Sunday.
To celebrate the launch, customers can look forward to a programme of exclusive in-store events and activations. More details will be announced soon.
