All The Trimmings cocktail tastes of potato, stuffing and cranberry
Yes, it’s begun. The Christmas madness is upon us and it’s only bloody October.
Humbugs should stop reading now. This one is for dedicated tinsel fanatics only.
For all the festive fanatics out there, we have Christmas dinner covered with a liquid Christmas roast
The OG of science-lab-style cocktails, The Alchemist has announced its Xmas spesh. The limited-edition libation will feature the flavours of the best bits of Xmas dinner: the spuds, stuffing and cranberry sauce. Don’t @ us.
The festive fizz has been designed in collab with the GREAT! movies Christmas channel (Freeview 51, Sky 319, Virgin 424 and Freesat 303) which in case you didn’t know, shows Xmas movies 24/7. You probably know someone that will be all over that. This office is divided.
The Xmas movie channel launched in September (!) and the cocktail will be available from Monday 25 October. So if you’re fed up from the moment the Xmas tree comes down and can’t wait to get your bauble earrings out again every year, this is your excuse to irritate everyone around you by getting your Crimbo on well in advance of standard guidelines.
Christmas cocktails for traditionalists and adventurers alike
If a herb and roast veg flavoured alcoholic drink isn’t your idea of a good time and you'd prefer a more classic Xmas tipple, the Alchemist will also be muddling a mince pie infused Old Fashioned.
If you want to try the quirky All The Trimmings cocktail, you'd better clear your diary as it’s only available for one week from Monday 25 October and only at The Alchemist the New York Street. The Alchemist's Mince Pie Old Fashioned is available until Christmas.
Kieran Corbitt, Brand PR and Social Manager at The Alchemist said, “We’re big lovers of the weird and the wonderful at The Alchemist, so we were hugely excited to spread an early dose of festive theatre alongside GREAT! movies Christmas. So for all the festive fanatics out there, we have Christmas dinner covered with a liquid Christmas roast and dessert in the form of a boozy mince pie infusion.”
