IBÉRICA will be playing host to some delicious Spanish wines with a tasting of albariños and tinto fino on Wednesday 29 June from 6pm.

Wine lovers just can't get enough of these spicy reds and aromatic whites with their notes of apricot and peach

Join Stephen Rosser for a virtual wine trip to the Rias Baixas and Ribera del Duero and discover how provenance affects the wine's identity and why wine lovers just can't get enough of these spicy reds and aromatic whites with their notes of apricot and peach.

Ribera del Duero is the oldest and most important D.O. of Castilla-León and today has over 170 wineries and more than 18,000 hectares of vines.

The remote area of the Rias Baixas on Spain's North-Western coast only achieved D.O. status in the late eighties but since then its reputation has really taken off. The high rainfall of this very green part of Spain and the inlets all along the coast are what give albariño its unique character.

There is a £10 reservation fee for this event which can be redeemed against dining or delicatessen products on the night. Spaces are limited so book fast to avoid disappointment.
