Happy hour, sparkly cocktails, vintage wares and more
Give this summer the send-off it deserves with a fun-filled spectacular at The Font on Manchester’s New Wakefield Street.
This Friday, Saturday and Sunday there’ll be a late night happy hour from 11pm – 1am because let’s face it, who has an early night when it’s bank holiday?
That means two for one on selected cocktails: choose two of the same from amaretto sour, jelly tot sour, talk nerdy to me, zombie and long island iced tea. The happy hour also includes a can and a shot for a fiver. So that’s a can of Berliner Pilsener or Hooch and a shot of either tequila, Sambuca, Jagermeister or Sourz.

There’ll also be a cocktail special available just for the weekend called #tastetherainbow full of glitter, a magical unicorn horn and skittle vodka. Plus DJs aplenty, £2 cocktails, mermaids, and £1 shots.
Bank Holiday fun is an all-day affair so there’ll also be a vintage flea market on Saturday from midday – 4pm selling clothing, ‘zines, 35mm cameras and art prints from traders including Desire Vintage, Trash Cams, Grave Shift, Doomed Regular, M21 Vintage, Archive MCR, Serene Vendetta and Varsity Vintage.
That’s your August Bank Holiday sorted.
