INDIAN Tiffin Room – Cheadle's street food star – opened a second restaurant on First Street in the city centre in February. Here's your chance to lunch there for free, to the value of £50.
Ever since it launched its original restaurant back in 2013, it's been getting rave reviews from customers and critics. It's partly down to the décor – an eclectic mix of ancient and modern Indian art and culture. And partly down to the service, which is attentive and efficient, despite the relaxed ambiance. But mainly, it's the food – made from scratch and bursting with lively flavours – which makes you realise how much more there is to Indian cuisine than curry and rice.
Try the mini idly – rice and lentil dumplings dipped in sambar. And the flavour explosion of the Pani puri – little pastry parcels filled with spiced potato and salad. Or opt for chicken kati roll – a flatbread filled with chicken tikka, salad, mint and chutney. Perfect lunchtime fare.

There's also a good cocktail menu to explore, and some very tempting desserts such as the comforting, saffron-flavoured rasmalai and the ultra-sweet carrot halwa – a moreish dish of grated carrot in condensed milk.
