Two guesties to try Wines of Germany at Elnecot on Wednesday 25 September

LET Wines of Germany take you on a city break without having to pack your passport – the Berlin wine tasting is in town.

Award-winning Ancoats bar and restaurant Elnecot is going Deutsch on Wednesday 25 September, hosting a one-off wine-tasting evening that puts German tipples on the map.

Starting with a sparkling Sekt, you’ll get to sample a showcase of 10 Wines of Germany, from racy Rieslings to perfect Pinots – Germany is now the third largest producer of Pinot in the world after France and the USA.

The laid-back tasting evening runs from 7pm until 9.30pm, and will also see some special serves in the form of tasty kebabs – the street food of choice in the German capital – plus Berlin-inspired beats from a live DJ.
