CHECK this out – we’re going back to school. For the very first time, Tampopo Cookery School is open for students, with classes starting this spring in the Corn Exchange and Trafford Centre kitchens. Each one-off session promises three recipes for you to try your hand at, with the restaurant’s co-founder and one of the masterclass leaders David Fox mentioning Eastern classics including Rendang, Nasi Goreng and Pad Thai.
You’ll learn how to prepare and cook the different dishes and pick up those vital tips and techniques you can’t get out of cookbooks – and, right now, we have two places up for grabs on the final confirmed cooking course, taking place in the city centre on Saturday 28th March.
