With themed evenings like RUN THE WORLD - celebrating Taylor, Rihanna and Beyoncé, as well as TOP OF THE POPS - delivering throwback classics like Fleetwood Mac. Oh and while you're there, head outside to their roaring firepit where you can sip hot cocktails and (quite literally) take a beat.

Ever wanted to meet your favourite author? Now's your chance. Manchester Literature Festival invites some of the world's biggest writers to lead panel events, discussions and literary events. From Rebecca F. Kuang, author of Yellowface to Elif Shafak, book lovers will be very busy this month.

The blue and white tents are back, which only means one thing: OKTOBERFEST. Celebrating their tenth anniversary, Manchester's OKTOBERFEST is going to be bigger than ever. Don your best lederhosen and head down to Sackville Street Car park for beer, bratwurst and Bavarian beats.

2024 Manchester Science Festival

Manchester Science Festival is back for 2024 and there's a jam-packed events programme. This year, the theme is ‘Extremes’, so expect interactive exhibitions like Injecting Hope: The Race for a COVID-19 Vaccine, which considers the extreme challenges faced during the pandemic. As well as the incredible Arachnobot, a giant spider puppet. Plus the UK's Space Agency Head of Space Exploration, Libby Jackson OBE join up for the first time for a special conversation around AI in Space.
