CHIC restaurant, cocktail and champagne bar San Carlo bottega has pulled out all the stops to create a Valentine dining experience to delight lovers and foodies alike.
Located on the second floor of Selfridges, Exchange Square in the city centre, bottega, serves expertly crafted small plate dishes influenced by Italy and Southern France. This February the restaurant has called on San Carlo Group’s star Chef Consiliere, Aldo Zilli, to create a dish which will seduce the senses on Valentine's Day.
Aldo’s champagne and butter langoustines brings together tender shellfish with the elegance and freshness of good champagne to create a simple, perfectly balanced dish that’s full of flavour.
Aldo said, “I love langoustines: they are really delicate with a sweet, distinct flavour and pair wonderfully with the fresh acidity of champagne. This is a very simple dish but it demands the finest ingredients. Best enjoyed with a flute of chilled champagne, it’s a great choice for Valentine dining.”

The a la carte menu will also be available on 14 February and Selfridges Beauty will be providing a little pamper treat for all couples dining at bottega on this day.
Being Italian, bottega understands romance cannot be rushed, so they have extended their opening hours, for one night only, to 10pm.
Downstairs on the lower ground floor Farmacia Del Dolce will be offering a special Valentine afternoon tea from Thursday through to Saturday. It's perfect for treating a loved one whilst enjoying a spot of luxury shopping.
Aldo’s champagne and butter langoustines will also be available as a Valentine special dish at Cicchetti on King Street West. Other San Carlo restaurants will be offering special set menus or a la carte menus. Please contact your nearest restaurant for more information.
