The second Manchester site for the global fashion giant will open next month

Renowned fashion retailer Urban Outfitters is set to open its second Manchester location at the Trafford Centre on 2 October.

The new site will span over 6,705 sq ft of trading space and showcase a curated mix of the brand’s signature style, culture and creativity, featuring standout proprietary brands including Urban Outfitters Masterbrand, BDG, iets frans, Kimchi Blue, Loom and Ayker.

Emma Wisden, President of Urban Outfitters EU, said: “We are hugely excited to be opening our second location in Manchester and our sixth store this year. We have always prioritised creating designs and spaces that are unique to us and inspire our customers to express their style. Our selection of standout proprietary brands, curated vintage products, global brands and unique home and lifestyle items are individual to Urban Outfitters, and we want to continue to build on this momentum with further growth into Europe.”

Simon Layton, Centre Director at Trafford Centre, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Urban Outfitters to Trafford Centre – a store that our guests have been requesting for a long time! Their unique offering will really resonate with our visitors, particularly as we continue to evolve our retail line-up with brands that bring something fresh and exciting. We can’t wait to see visitors experiencing everything the new store has to offer.”

To mark the new launch, Urban Outfitters will host an exclusive preview event for local brand fans, featuring a live DJ set, giveaways and a customisation station for products bought in-store.
