#TwitFaced is celebrating its first birthday on Friday 7 December – this time at intimate canal-side Deansgate bar, Lock 91.

There are drinks offers, music, and fun and games. It's an evening of merriment and madness, and everyone who likes a tweet or two is invited

Described as a 'very informal networking event' and ‘more than just a night out’, it's a chance to let your hair down with likeminded Manchester folk who enjoy chatting face-to-face as well as engaging on Twitter.

There are drinks offers, music, and fun and games. It's an evening of merriment and madness, and everyone who likes a tweet or two is invited.

Tickets are free but limited in number and at last count, were being snapped up at an alarming rate. So get your skates on and register here.

TF4_Hotties2First off then, the drinks. On arrival, you’ll receive a TwitFaced Christmas warmer, and there'll be drinks offers throughout the night: Stella Artois 4 and IPA will be £2.50 per pint, selected premium bottled beers – San Miguel, Peroni, Corona and Becks – will be £2.50 per bottle until stocks run dry; house wine will be £2.50 per glass (and a 250ml glass at that) or £7.50 for a bottle, and house spirits including mixers will be £2.50 a pop. Well, it is their birthday and Crimbo party rolled into one.

There'll be musical delights from Slammin Boy’s Mark Hogg, fresh from celebrating twenty years DJing to some of the world’s finest dance floors, as well as his last four-hour stint at TwitFaced4. Guaranteed to spin his usual anything goes, yet feel good factor playlist, he went down a treat last time round.

There'll also be a set from one of the event sponsors with UP Search's Christian McGinty and Ross Thompson returning to spin house and dance classics.

And as an extra special treat, we’re introducing a live performance from Becki Fishwick, a lady with soul running through her veins. Popular on the northwest club scene, Becki will add extra spice with her entertaining set of soul, Motown and classic covers. This lady has got an impressive set of lungs on her.

Add to that the Wheel of Booze making appearances throughout the evening, the TwitFaced app and a couple of other elements still under wraps, and there you have it.

#TwitFaced starts from 6pm on Friday 7 December at Lock 91, Deansgate. Register here.
