CONFIDENTIAL PROMOTION
#TWITFACED is back again on Friday 2 October at Pie and Ale for their twelfth event which promises to be their best yet.
Described as the ‘social networking to social event', it's a chance to let your hair down with like-minded Manchester business folk who enjoy chatting in person as well as on Twitter. There will be the usual drinks giveaways, awards, music and fun and games. It's an evening of merriment, madness and most definitely, making new friends.
This time, the TwitFaced events team have paid homage to the venue and adopted an American Pie theme. You can count on seeing some familiar faces as Pie and Ale becomes Stifler’s Palace of Love for one night only. Which lucky boy might tweet-up with Stifler's mom?
Tickets are £10 each (plus a small fee) but limited in number with nearly 275 people already signed up to attend. Register here.
There’ll be musical delights from Across The Tracks' Martin Glynn, who has DJed at almost all of Manchester’s best known clubs.
Resident over the years at Prague Five, Holy City Zoo, Rossetti, Panacea and Sub Space, Martin plays an eclectic mix of dance floor favourites, old and new. As part of the Across the Tracks collective Martin is a regular on the scene.
Slammin Boy’s Mark Hogg, who has played some of the world’s finest dance floors (Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Home, El Divino), will also be hitting the decks to spin his usual upbeat dance grooves. Mark is a firm TwitFaced favourite and knows how to get a party going.
Official entertainment partner, Make Happen are kindly hosting BoothStorming, an early evening, team speed-networking session during which they’ll be introducing groups of people over a free taste of ale and some nibbles, albeit, in typically light-hearted style. First come, first served folks. Tweet @TwitFacedEvents if interested.
At the opposite end of the sensible scale, there’ll be mentalism and mind-reading from the fabulous Chris Rawlins and James Anthony who will be roaming the party performing live magic and sorcery. These two are worth the entrance fee alone.
Big Knows himself, Simon Calderbank will, as always, be your host with the most for the evening and who knows what he’ll have up his sleeve this time but we’re told Mr Levenstein might be holding court and offering relationship tips.
Aside from ALL this you can expect the usual surprises, games and hotly-contested awards such as ‘Best Dressed’ and ‘Most TwitFaced’.
Organisers, Studio North would like to extend a big thank you to the kind sponsors MRJ Recruitment, Melbourne Server Hosting, Freeman Fisher, RedStar Creative, UpSearch, Shaping Cloud and Fatsoma.
And last but not least Manchester Confidential, who’ve been media partners, from day one.
#TwitFaced starts from 6pm on Friday 2 October at Pie and Ale, The Hive, 47 Lever St., Northern Quarter, Manchester M1 1FN and is scheduled to last till VERY late. Register here.
