Why not go for a big juicy burger on Saturday; it is a weekend of indulgence after all. Manchester Confidential has just discovered a secret burger heaven on High Street in the Northern Quarter named Almost Famous Burgers. Go for their Triple Nom Burger with fries and maybe even a side order of wings to make your taste buds sing with joy.

Nip into Mojo bar on Saturday for a refreshment from their Sociable or Party Drinks menu. Go for something like their Killer Punch with vodka, melon liqueur, amaretto along with cranberry and lime as an Easter treat. Mojo is located on Back Bridge Street.

Good Mourning Mrs Brown is live at the O2 Apollo every night from Tuesday 3 April to Saturday 7 April. Brendan O'Carroll returns as Irish humoured Mrs Agnes Brown with the second part in a five part trilogy of Mrs Brown plays.

Cirque du Soleil brings its show Alegría  to Manchester for the first time, at the Manchester Arena from Wednesday 4 to Saturday 7 April. Alegría is a classic Cirque du Soleil production and has wowed over 10 million people since it premiered in 1994.

Treat your children to a special Easter Sunday with a trip to see CBeebies Live! Reach To The Stars show. Mister Maker, Robbie Rotten, Stephanie and Sportacus will storm the stage along with Mr Tumble, Postman Pat and more CBeebies favourites.

The Imperial War Museum North has a special programme for the Easter holiday, from 31 March to 15 April. With activies, workshops and exhibitions for the whole family, make sure to check out their Easter programme. For example on Easter Monday they have a special, family friendly performance of wartime adventures called What A Performance; War Horses.

Make sure not to miss out on The Phantom Of The Opera starring John Owen-Jones and Katie Hall, which comes to Manchester on 5 April. This is a new production directed by Laurence Connor. A disfigured musician hides away in the Paris Opera House, terrorising the opera company because of his love for a chorus girl.
