Using Zoopla UK market data, the team have compiled a full average rental price map of properties in Greater Manchester running along the seven lines of the Metrolink, with some interesting results...
Metrolink's Rochdale line is the cheapest to live on with an average rental price of £404pcm for a one-bed, while properties around Oldham King Street station are the cheapest of all, costing an average of just £297pcm.
The Bury line is the second most economical, with an average rental price of £424pcm, followed by the Manchester Airport line with £482pcm.
Unsurprisingly, the priciest properties are those located within Central Manchester, with M1 postcode properties costing an average of £785pcm, while Deansgate-Castlefield (£677), Salford Quays (£690) and West Didsbury (£598) also featured highly.

Punch the Velopark's postcode into Zoopla's data cruncher and we find the current average rental price for a one-bed in the M11 area is actually £388.
We're also unsure why Shudehill, Oldham Central, Oldham Mumps and Derker have no values when we found Shudehill to be £716pcm and OL1 to average £490pcm.
