Marc Farrell Presents... Pass the Sherry Grandma
26 September at #22Redbank
Liquorist Marc Farrell will host 30 enthusiastic liquor fans in a delicious delve into the world of sherries and fortified wines.
No longer the exclusive realm of the over-65s, we're bringing these characterful liquids into the 21st century with the aid of shaking, stirring and mixing.
After a brief history we will be sampling the wines in their natural state, as the locals would drink them. They'll be paired with handmade food matches from the regions of Europe they hail from.
After this the Liquorists will be mixing and swirling their way through an exciting cocktail menu built around the ports, sherries and such tried earlier in the evening.
£25 a head for 5 wines and 5 cocktails, each paired with handmade food matches.

Marc Farrell Presents... There is More to Meat Than Malbec
3 October at #22Redbank
This tasting will look in depth at wine and meat pairings. Red wine isn’t always best and Malbec is NOT the only red wine to go well with steak.
We will use Champagnes, dessert wines and white wines and maybe a few reds from around the globe to show how wine works paired with different cuts of meat.
After this session, your trips to restaurants will never be the same. A must if you are a wine fan, or a red meat fan or indeed a fan of both (guilty!)
£20 a head for 5 wines each paired with handmade food matches
