This month we’re loving the smoked mackerel pâté starter, served with a spiced rhubarb purée.
The two-course set lunch on weekdays and Saturdays offers a choice of five starters and six mains, each with two vegetarian choices plus plenty for fish lovers.
This month we’re loving the smoked mackerel pâté starter, served with a spiced rhubarb purée. The apple and potato salad topped with spiced chicken strips and scattered with crushed walnuts is also a worthy contender on the new menu.
Perfect for the new season are the lightly grilled spring lamb chops, lying on a bed of parsnip and potato puree with jus and greens, and the Insalata di Manzo – really good beef fillet on a wild rocket and red onion salad, with parmesan aioli for dipping opportunities. As well as a potato gnocchi dish, vegetarians can opt for the unusual Rotolini – stone-baked pizza rolls with smoked mozzarella and artichokes on a Pomodoro sauce.
The two-course lunch menu is £16.95 and available Monday-Thursday 12-6pm and Friday-Saturday 12-4pm.

For afters, you can indulge your sweet tooth with the likes of salted caramel and dark chocolate tartlet or the gelato selection of homemade ice creams and sorbets.
