PRIMARK’S first womenswear concession is to open this month in the Trafford Centre’s Selfridges store. The concession comes a year after the budget retail giant opened a menswear concession in the same department store. And no surprise there really.
The high-end meets low-end formula has proved a success at Selfridges where Primark menswear reportedly takes double the amount than two premium menswear concessions in the same department, according to Fashion Rambler’s sources.
Womenswear is expected to do even better, and if the promotional images are anything to go by, it would appear Primarni is about to give its namesake, Armani, a run for its money.
Primark will be showcasing two hundred of its most fashion forward items from the latest winter collection and key pieces from its Limited Edition campaign at Selfridges Trafford Centre.
