POPSTAR Pixie Lott is the latest name to be announced for the Manchester Pride celebrations.
She will perform alongside global superstar Anastacia, reformed girl band All Saints, upcoming songstress Foxes and this year's Eurovision winner Conchita Wurst.
"This is one of the strongest entertainment line-ups that Manchester Pride has ever seen"
Other acts performing at the Big Weekend include previous X Factor contestants Amelia Lilly, Lucy Spraggan and Marcus Collins. MOBO winners Big Brovaz and female dance duo Booty Luv are also set to perform.
Anastacia is also performing at the Big Weekend this year
The Big Weekend celebrations for Manchester Pride will run across the August bank holiday weekend from Friday 22 August to Monday 25 August. The event will raise money for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender charities and also HIV organisations in Manchester.
Lott last performed at Manchester Pride back in 2011, and is set to make a welcome return. "We're really pleased to be welcoming Pixie Lott back to Manchester and we're sure her performance will wow the crowds once again," said Mark Fletcher, chief executive of Manchester Pride.
"Pixie is joining a stellar line-up for 2014 and we're excited to see all of our performers. This is one of the strongest entertainment line-ups that Manchester Pride has ever seen, with local, national and international acts from an array of musical styles, including pop, dance, folk and rock, we're already feeling the love for this year's Pride line-up, with so much buzz already building in the run up to the Big Weekend."
