More than 200 judges sampled almost 4,500 cheeses from across the globe battling it out to be crowned ICA's Supreme Champion.

This year’s Supreme Champion of the International Cheese Awards 2014 and proud new holder of The National Westminster Cup is Nottingham's Colston Bassett Dairy for their Whole Blue Stilton.

Colston Bassett Stilton is a smooth and creamy Stilton with a mellow flavour, matured for around 12 weeks and made in the traditional way using milk from local farms within 1.5 miles of the dairy in the Vale of Belvoir on the Nottinghamshire/Leicestershire border.

“We are thrilled to have won such an outstanding accolade. Achieving Supreme Champion at Nantwich Show is recognition of the hard work by our team at Colston Bassett Dairy, in delivering consistently good cheese for almost one hundred and one years."

Well done to you, Bill.

Reserve Supreme Champion and winner of The Paul Smith-Palmer Memorial Trophy was Jaquin, exhibited by Buxton's Bradbury's Cheeses, for their Goat Cheese Ash.
