Head to Dulcimer for an all-dayer in aid of homeless charity ROC
DJS and vinyl fans will gather at Dulcimer in Chorlton on Saturday 9 December for a marathon of genre-crossing music, at the Peek A Groove first birthday party and charity fundraiser.
Kicking off at midday and going right through to 2am, it'll be non-stop tunes from 25 Manchester-based DJs including Peek A Groove founders Adam Maxwell and Andy Shake'N'Fingerpop (full list on the flyer below). There's no music policy other than 'strictly vinyl'. If it's worth hearing, it gets played.
There'll be food and drinks deals, and a variety of stalls including record dealers selling their wares.
And of course, collection boxes to raise money for a charity firmly based in the local area, Reach Out to the Community (ROC).
ROC provides support to rough sleepers, the homeless and other vulnerable people in the Chorlton area. Working closely with the local community, the police and Manchester City Council, it helps homeless people move away from a life of rough sleeping, and access services such as benefits advice and accommodation.
