Pancake Corner serves just-flipped pancakes – sweet and savoury – with a range of fillings.
Sweet options range from the classic Lemon and Sugar, to the indulgent Cookie Crumble (Nutella spread with crushed cookies and a side of whipped cream topped with chocolate sauce).
The savoury fillings include a delicious Breakfast Pancake (sauteed mushrooms and tomatoes with melted cheese and a fried egg) and a Veggie Delight (cherry tomatoes, spinach and mushroom, topped with cheese). See the full menu.
The creperie also serves a massive range of milkshakes, freshly made Belgian waffles, and cakes, all to eat in or takeaway.
Pancake Corner was set up by two young entrepreneurs, Adeel Khan and Faisal Mayet, who got a hankering for pancakes after returning from travelling around the Continent. Fresh crepes are common in France and Belgium, but they're hard to find around here (particular since the demise of The Dutch Pancake House, RIP).
Adeel and Faisal opened Pancake Corner in Urmston in 2011 to fill the pancake gap, and since then have had two popular pop-up creperie stands in the city centre.
