New menu at The Pen and Pencil

The Pen and Pencil has an exciting new menu with a massive new range of brunch, lunch and dinner dishes.

They’ve kept the all-time classics like Eggs Pen & Pencil, favourites like the barbarian breakfast burrito and their signature burgers of course but other than that, it’s all change.

Confidentials loves the pure NY deli salmon and cream cheese bagel and the new signature rarebit, all cheesy melted goodness with a hit of chilli oil.

The spicy bbq beans make a great vegan brunch option too - or add poached eggs if you’re not looking for plant-based brekkie.

When that sun shines, the hot honey salad is a winner - especially when you upgrade with halloumi. It almost feels like spring is back. The club sandwich is another lunchtime classic we’re happy to see on the menu.

The new dishes really get that American bar feel spot on. Relaxed, casual and generous with a big dollop of flavour.

The dinner menu has really expanded. The Pen and Pencil is now a dining destination in its own right as well as a great neighbourhood bar.

From spicy meatball subs for a casual bite to a fab katsu chicken curry and a new bacon maple double cheeseburger, this is the sort of food that makes people happy.

What’s more there’s a tasty new tacos offering - you can choose any four for £20. The fish tacos with zesty slaw are a top pick.
