The Lower Turk’s Head on the edge of Manchester’s Northern Quarter is a pub that’s rich in history – dating back to 1745.
On the ground floor are two bars plus a smaller cubbyhole bar upstairs. In total there are 30 keg taps and 12 cask pumps serving Joseph Holt Bitter, IPA, Chorlton Pale Ale, Two Hoots and Mild.
The first floor is where you’ll find a heated outdoor terrace with artwork paying homage to the pub’s Northern Soul days.
There are also four en-suite rooms if you’re looking for city centre accommodation.
The Grey Horse is a spacious historic pub. It’s laid-back, dog-friendly and has a huge beer garden.
There’s always something going on – free pool on Mondays, quiz night on Tuesdays and weekend entertainment as well as live sports on TV.
The Grey Horse offers a wide selection of kegged beers, lagers and cask Bitter. The pub also stocks a good choice of wine, plus premium spirits including Kraken rum and Grey Goose.
The Grafton Arms is just off Oxford Road. It’s friendly and lively with regular live music and open mic nights as well as pub quizzes and live sport.

The Woodthorpe is the former family home of Sir Edward Holt in the 1800s and it is pretty grand. There are huge gardens and if they’re not enough for you – it’s right over the road from Heaton Park.
It’s a family friendly food pub serving hearty pub classics, roasts, wraps and sandwiches, as well as salads, vegan dishes and curries.
You’ll always get an exceptional pint of cask ale or award-winning lager here with plenty of other choice from the bar including a fresh gin and rum menu and great wine.
There are also three en-suite rooms for overnight stays.

The flower-filled terrace at the Horse & Jockey has heated canopies and inside there’s a large central bar, a snug and a taproom – because we have our very own Bootleg microbrewery here.
As well as a fantastic selection of ales, craft beers and award-winning lagers, accompanied by a fully stocked wine and spirits list you can enjoy excellent meals at the Horse and Jockey from a three-course dinner to lighter bites with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu too.
The Fairway Inn is a spacious, open-plan pub for all the family. We serve lagers, cask ales and a range of bottled beer. The Fairways offers some great gin and rum cocktails, plus premium spirits and wine.
What’s more our food selection is very popular too – everything from pub classics like burgers to speciality pizzas from our own pizza oven.
The White Swan has been standing proudly on Worsley Road for 200 years and it still has those traditional touches like stained glass and oak panelling.
It’s a great place to watch all the Premier League, Champions League and other sporting action throughout the week. There’s a beer garden towards the back with seating and a TV so you won’t miss any of the action.
At the bar there’s a good choice of ales, lagers and ciders including craft beers from Bootleg Brewery. If you’re feeling a bit peckish, you can grab a warm Carrs pasty.
The Lamb Hotel is a grand Grade II Listed building and a must for any real ale lover – it was CAMRA’s Salford Pub of the Year in 2019 and has won too many other awards to list here.

The Derby Brewery Arms is just a ten-minute walk from Manchester Victoria train station and, as the name suggests, it’s on the corner next to our brewery so the beer is as fresh as it gets.
The pub has been recently refurbished, making the most of its history but with a hip, modern update.

The Brigadier is a real community pub with a competitive darts and pool team as well as entertainment throughout the week like bingo, karaoke and an open mic night.
