MYSTERIOUS posters have been spotted around Northern Quarter.

…we’d stick a fiver on Franky boy

The posters promote Manchester’s award-winning summer festival, Parklife, which will once again take over Heaton Park on the second weekend of June (10th and 11th) – that much is clear.

What isn’t so clear is what the image of a lone pair of Nike hi-tops symbolises.

Must be hinting at a headliner, right?

But who?

We’ve been wracking our brain boxes in the Confidential offices and here are the three potential headliners we’ve come up with:

- Marty McFly from Back To The Future.

- Basketball legend Michael Jordan.

- R&B prodigy Frank Ocean.

The most likely of which, of course, is Frank, who recently announced he was to perform two UK shows next year.

Further to that, earlier this year Frank released the video for single Nikes – a five-minute visual romp featuring a naked woman in a fish tank, a naked woman on a horse, and stars radiating from a naked lady's what-not (see below):

Bit of a giveaway, huh?

We called Parklife and Warehouse Project boss, Sacha Lord, to confirm the news:

“I cannot confirm anything at this time,” said Lord, “all acts will be announced in January.”

Oh Lord you tease... we’d be sticking a fiver on Franky boy.
