THIS IS getting tedious and we still have the Michelin Guide to come out. The Midland Hotel in Manchester is celebrating another prestigious national accolade.

It's gained three AA Rosettes for The French by Simon Rogan.

Manchester is going from strength to strength in terms of its food offering

The AA awards recognises and rewards the excellent services provided by the UK’s best hotel and restaurants. Three AA Rosettes is the highest number a restaurant open less than six months can achieve.

This follows going straight in at twelfth nationally in the Waitrose Good Food Guide 2013 while being recommended as the best New Entry.

Mike Magrane, General Manager at The Midland said: “We’re delighted The French has been awarded three AA Rosettes. This is a fantastic accolade and testament to the team’s hard work over the last few months. Manchester is going from strength to strength in terms of its food offering with The French leading the way and this highlights that visitors do not have to go to London to experience the very best of British cuisine.”
