The Manchester venue beat off countrywide competition in the National Best New Business Awards
Masons Restaurant Bar has won ‘Restaurant of the Year’ at the National Best New Business Awards.
The prestigious event took place at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel in Kensington, London, on Friday 29 June and saw the Manchester venue compete with top businesses across the country for the accolade, which is highly respected by industry professionals.
Masons impressed the judging panel with its premium food, high standard of customer service and exceptional all-round dining experience.
Located on the ground floor of the iconic Grade II-listed Manchester Hall - a premier events venue on Bridge Street, which recently underwent a multi-million pound refurbishment - the venue specialises in British classics with a global flavour, using the best seasonal produce and attention to detail. All ingredients are sourced from the British Isles, including Connemara organic Irish salmon from Ireland and Dukesmoor steaks from Cumbria.
Its unique setting (named one of the UK’s ‘most Instagrammable’ by Glamour) and diverse menu also makes Masons super flexible - from breakfast planning meetings to client lunches or a romantic evening meal. A Freemasons-inspired booth can be booked for private dining, inspired by the venue’s former use as a Freemasons Hall.
Deepa Parekh, Director of Manchester Hall, commented on the venue’s incredible win: “We are so incredibly proud to have been presented with the ‘Restaurant of the Year’ award. It is wonderful to be recognised…when competing against other wonderful restaurants from across the country!
“We’re hoping this is just the beginning of a wonderful journey for Masons Restaurant Bar and Manchester Hall. Our next adventure is the upcoming launch of our rooftop terrace and brand new bedrooms. I know the whole team is excited for what the future holds.”
